A collaborative approach to storytelling.
CWORK MEDIA partnered with VENN and the Hispanic Access Foundation to develop and produce Historias de Esperanza. Pre-production was a collaborative effort involving story development, storyboarding, interview preparation, scheduling, and production logistics.
CWORK MEDIA led on-location production in Portland, Oregon, overseeing cinematography, interviews, and audio capture, with local production support from Bridge City Media. Following production, VENN handled the editing of the main documentary, while CWORK MEDIA wrote and edited the official trailer and individual character vignettes, incorporating AI-generated voiceover narration into the vignettes.
The character vignettes were created to introduce audiences to the documentary's participants, build interest ahead of film screenings, and support the foundation's promotional outreach through social media and other digital channels.
